Since its inception in 2008, GWC has secured investments from renown institutions such as: Xiaomi, Tencent, Sina, Baidu, Qualcomm, DST Global, Cheetah Mobile, Didi, and Shengjing Jiacheng Investments.
GWC Membership platform consists of over 700 global executives, including Lei Jun, Chairman and CEO of Xiaomi, Pony Ma, Chairman and CEO of Tencent Holdings Limited, Robin Li, Chairman and CEO of Baidu, and Cheng Wei, Founder and CEO of Didi. Utilizing its global network as the foundation, GWC hosts various cross-industry conferences and exhibitions in major markets, attracting hundreds of thousands of attendees each year.
Operating under the GWC umbrella includes various cross-industry conferences and exhibitions with tens of thousands of attendees annually – GMIC, G-Summit and China House Vision (CHV).
GMIC is one of the largest and most influential technology conference series, hosted in major developed and emerging tech hubs. G-Summit is an exclusive, invitation-only gathering of Scientists and Executives to drive innovation from lab to market. The China House Vision (CHV) ‘Future of Life’ exhibition is a series of conceptual designs by world renowned architects, combining technological innovations into design.
In addition to its extensive event portfolio, GWC also operates an executive university program – GASA. Founded in Silicon Valley, GASA University is dedicated to become a progressive program for successful entrepreneurs who seek to enhance their scientific and cultural knowledge. It is the place where culture, science, and lasting relationships collide. Instructors include 93 world-class Nobel laureates, academicians, and scientists in various fields. Every year, thirty students will travel to six scientific hubs around the world to explore the spirit of science.
Through the Innovator Fund, GWC is also an active early-stage investor in emerging technologies. Each year GWC hosts its startup competition in various markets seeking disruptive founders and technologies.
